Mark initially launched the showroom in the heart of Manchester in January 2003 and was joined by previous colleague Jacqui in July, since then Mark Taylor Fashion Agencies has gone from strength to strength and continues to expand with some new and impressive names signing onto the books.
With many varied roles in fashion, from shoes to menswear and latterly ladies fashion, Mark has developed a keen eye for new and existing designer talent. Having spent time in South Africa as well as the UK his knowledge of the fashion world has been keenly developed. Mark and Jacqui now focus their attention on the female market, explicitly working with designers who target the over 40’s female market. They seek to find wearable but outstanding collections that will allow women to break free of the chain store mindset found on every high street in the country.
This has meant that they have acquired a small but impressive portfolio of sole agent clients. Currently, Mark Taylor is proud to represent Frank Lyman, Lexus and Green Goose but are open to meeting new designers looking to work with an agent to get their brands out into independent ladies wear boutiques.
Mark and Jacqui are also keen to meet any independent ladies wear shops that are interested stocking some impressive designers, offering a broad choice of off the rack styles specifically designed for the older woman seeking to project a classic, timeless but on point look.
